Deer fencing is the only way to guarantee that deer will be kept off your property 100% of the time. We install deer fences in Connecticut, Massachusetts (including Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket), New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. The standard height of a deer fence is 7.5'. We construct the fence using galvanized steel materials that are powder coated in black paint which increases the longevity of the fence. The fence mesh uses smaller grids for the first 30" of fence height to prevent smaller animals from pushing through the base of the fence. The remaining height of the fence from 30" upward uses a larger grid pattern that helps contribute to the low visibility factor of the fence. We bend and attach 6 inches of the fence mesh onto the ground and stake it so that a seamless transition is made with the ground that also discourages animals from digging and pushing underneath the fence. The fence mesh is suspended by a black, tensioned, steel braided cable. This cable not only strengthens the fence but it also creates a flat, straight, crisp top for the fence. Corners and end points are reinforced with bracing and brace hardware. We offer a variety of gates as well, ranging in size from 3' wide pedestrian access gates, to 16' wide double-leaf driveway gates.
